This event is the origin of all Masters cycling races. Franz Baumann was the first to come up with the idea of giving former pro cyclists the opportunity to practice their beloved sport in their own age groups for the 54. time this year.
Sine 1968 many of the big names in cycling sport could have been found among the participants. Tour winners, world champions and Olympic athletes from all over the world brought international flair to St. Johann in Tyrol.
This year there will be one road race for each participant. For the class A/B and masters classes there will be a classification as part of the Austria Cup.
Likewise there is also a time trial on a completely closed federal road, it really doesn't get any better than this. The difficulty of the course is also suitable for masters of higher age, the speed makes it difficult.
Racers aged 30 and over can participate with or without a licence.
